Open communication among parents,
teachers, and administrators is important for
student progress and for maintaining a healthy
school climate. Attempts should be made to solve
problems at the lowest level possible, so that those closest to the situation are involved. When
this is proven unsuccessful, the parent should contact the Principal.
If a problem occurs in the classroom, the parent
is to contact the teacher through the school
office or via email in order to discuss the problem. If a satisfactory
solution cannot be reached, the parent and/or teacher should contact the Principal.
The Principal will work to resolve the issue in partnership with the teacher(s) so that a satisfactory solution is found. If the problem
remains unsolved, the Principal and/or parent may appeal
to the Chair of the Board of Members for help in mediation. Respectful and successful resolution is the goal.
A parent should make an appointment with a teacher
by sending a note, e-mail, or phone call to the
teacher. Because of the interruption in the teaching-learning
process, spontaneous visits to the classroom are
not permitted.
The Principal is available for discussion of any concern. Please call the school secretary. |
