A student may be dismissed from
school early only with the approval of the Principal
or his/her designee. Students will not be released
into the care of any person who is not authorized
for such purpose, or on the basis of an invalidated
telephone call.
Children who are to be dismissed early must have
a note from a parent. Teachers do not have the
authority to release students and no student is
permitted to leave school (with or without a parent),
prior to dismissal, without the permission of
the Principal or his/her designate. Children must
report to the office before leaving the school
for an early dismissal. Children must be signed
out by the person responsible for transporting
them. In so far as possible, we ask that appointments
be scheduled after school hours. Parents are asked
not to take students from classroom doors or bus
lines without the permission from the Principal
or his/her delegate.
