Report Cards showing
the student's progress shall be issued in accordance
with the dates established on the official school
calendar. Progress is determined by the degree
to which the child learns subject matter according
to ability, accomplishes daily work, participates
in class discussions, uses class time effectively,
participates in group/class research and projects, creates portfolios
and does homework assignments. Parent/teacher
conferences shall be used in conjunction with
the report card as an additional means of communicating
progress. The principal will establish a procedure
for the scheduling of parent/teacher conferences.
Students must meet expectations in each area of study. If a student does not, s/he must register for summer tutoring
classes with a certified teacher. Proof of acceptable progress must be presented before the student can
proceed to the next level.
