Welcome to the Queen of Angels Catholic School Scrip Program

What is the Scrip Program?

The Scrip Program is a tuition credit/fundraising program where you can earn tuition credit while earning money for the school at the same time. Scrip is a term that means, "substitute money". They are gift certificates which you can purchase through the school and use at various merchants to do your daily shopping (groceries, gas, clothing, restaurants, etc.). The scrips are purchased at face value so there is no extra cost to you. There is a wide variety of merchants to choose from which should fulfill your everyday shopping needs.

How does the Program Work?

Scrips are ordered through the Great Lake Scrip Center and through local vendors. They are purchased at a discount because of the order volume and this discount is passed on to you.

At Queen of Angels, 75% of the discount is credited to each family's tuition account and 25% is retained for the school.

For example:
McDonald's discount percentage is 50%, which means the discount is $.50 for every dollar spent.

* 75% of the discount goes to the family ($.375 for every $1.00 spent).
* 25% of the discount goes to Queen of Angels ($.125 for every $1.00 spent).

Each vendor has a different percentage ranging from 2% to 50%.

For example:
Giant Eagle is 5%
Subway is 37.5%
Kohl's is 5%
