A student is tardy if he/she is not in the classroom for the opening exercises. This applies to all students in grades Kindergarten through Grade Eight. Repeated cases of tardiness will be brought to the attention of the Principal so those parents will be notified. Any student who is tardy must submit a note of explanation signed by a parent or guardian. The teacher is responsible for recording tardiness in the attendance register, on the report card, and on the permanent record card.
