Assessment Policy

Student assessment will be dependent on the following areas:

• Knowledge and skills demonstrated on class tests and/or quizzes. Goal: Earn all points.
• Skills demonstrated in class projects. Goal: Achieve all goals outlined in rubric.
• Timely, thorough completion of individual homework assignments. Goal: On time; complete, correct.
• Attitude, effort and teamwork in assigned group work. Goal: Achieve all goals outlined in rubric.
• Demonstrated class participation. Goal: Take an active, interested role; ask questions; show respect.
• Demonstrate consistency and independence in applying skills. Goal: Achieve consistent performance.
• Exhibit expected behaviors. Goal: Show attitudes and behaviors consistent with stated expectations.
