The students are expected to take responsibility for their assignments. They are required to record their assignments in their assignment books. If they do not have it recorded, or want to double check on an assignment, they can connect to www.yourhomework.com.

Homework Policy

All homework must be complete and handed in on time to receive full credit.

• Homework will be accepted late, however, points will be deducted from each day not received.
• Partial homework will receive no credit.
• Homework should be neat and legible.

Absentee Policy

• An assignment sheet will be given to the student on the returning day to complete and have signed by a parent.
• Students who miss one day will have one day to make up the work. Two days missed, two days to make up the work, etc.
• If student is absent from class because of early dismissal, tardy to school, or an extracurricular activity, they are responsible for everything done in that class.
• Students who know in advance that they will be absent from school should be prepared for tests and/or have assignments ready upon their return to school.
• If student is absent on test day, they will make up the test on the returning date.
• Students and parents can refer to YourHomework.com to find daily assignments.

If the student fails to uphold the rules, policies and expectations (not already with consequences), the following consequences will be taken:

First time: Warning.

Second time: Discuss behavior /write discipline to be signed by parent and returned the next day.

Third Time: Lunch detention; parent called; principal notified.

Severe cause: Student will be sent to the principal’s office.
