I expect students to be courteous,
responsible and prepared for learning. We have
set classroom rules which the students help to
make. Our rules usually include: be a good friend,
follow directions, be a good listener, and try
your best.
I stress responsibility, self-control
and citizenship. My goal is to help your child
function in society where there are rules and
consequences all around them. To that end, I do
use consistent consequences of: warning, time
out to think it through, parental contact, and
time away from the classroom.
Please know that I will contact
you to devise a plan of action if your child has
any repeated behavior issues to address. I will
want to work with you to help your child
