Dear Parents and Prospective
Parents,
We are so pleased that you are considering the
gift of a Queen of Angels Catholic School education
for your children. There is no doubt that in making
this choice, you communicate your values, your
priorities and your commitment to supporting Catholic
schools. We treasure the trust you place in us
and we will work to the best of our ability to
build Faith in Every Student.
Before registering at Queen of Angels, please
review all the important information in this packet.
Registration is a commitment not only to attendance
and to payment, but also to our school community,
our educational philosophy, our hopes and dreams
and to the policies of our school. We agree to
work together respectfully to resolve concerns.
Please be sure to do the following:
1. Review all curriculum options. We have expanded
Early Childhood offerings to better customize
for the individual child. If your child is currently
enrolled in our Pre-School or Kindergarten programs,
the teacher will have a recommendation. Toddler
Two was initiated this year.
2. Review the dress code for 2006-2007. It applies
to all of our full day students, full day Kindergarten
to 8th grade. We will be beautifully “team
consistent” in our new building!
3. Review the Parent School Cost Options carefully
and make your selection. As you’ll see,
we are recognizing that School Scrips participation
is an important way we manage the gap between
the announced tuition and the total per student
cost. Thank you for shopping with Scrips! We will
be offering a Scrips Power Family Workshop to
help you increase your credits.
4. Make your tuition payment method selection
and, if you do not choose annual pay and/or the
Benefactor Family option, please complete the
FACTS automatic withdrawal forms.
5. If you decide to apply for tuition assistance
(FACTS Grant and Aid form), please note the March
15th deadline for maximum consideration (based
on eligibility and need). You can even use school
computers to apply online!
6. Note that there is a Registration Fee of $75
per student. This fee will pay for start up costs
for the new school year. Not only do we acquire
supplies and books and instructional aids, but
this year we must even buy elementary school desks!
However, if you recruit a new family, all of your
registration fees are refunded. Please see the
Parent Ambassador flyer.
