Educational
Angels for Teachers: Help with wish list for teachers.
Book Fair: Yearly opportunity for children to purchase a wide variety of educational and reading materials. All proceeds benefit our school library. Help is needed during the week of the book fair to assist children in making their selections.
Catholic Schools Week: Celebrate Queen of Angels Catholic School with weeklong activities and programs. Volunteers are needed in many aspects to make it a memorable event. Information will be available in the January newsletter. We also show our appreciation to our staff by giving them a special lunch. Help is needed in planning, set up, clean up, and watching classrooms during the luncheon.
Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC): Award of state tax credits paid by local business firms to the Scholarship Partners Foundation of the Diocese of Greensburg, which provides tuition assistance to our families.
Fun Day: An all school day of fun to promote health and fitness. Helpers are needed at each game station and to help with lunchtime organization. The day ends with a volleyball game where the faculty plays against the eighth grade students.
Grant Research/Grant Writing: Volunteers are needed to write grant letters to varying organizations and individuals to help raise school operating dollars and, eventually, funds for our school endowment.
Homeroom Coordinators: Moms or Dads to assist homeroom teachers with special projects.
Library Volunteers: Assists in checking out books and clerical tasks in the library.
Lunch Patrol: Provides adequate and quality supervision for our children at your assigned lunch time.
Uniform Committee: Organize a used clothing sale/uniform room and uniform fitting day.
Yearbook: Compile photographs of each grade and school activities within the school year.
Marketing
Alumni Committee: A committee to search for past students, research school history, and keep connected to our alumni with a newsletter.
Parish Based Marketing Team: Families talking to new families about Queen of Angels in their parish by displaying children's schoolwork, and working with the SCRIPS program.
Public Relations: Keep Queen of Angels in the local news. Newspaper articles are written for local papers about our students, and for publication in our church bulletins.
Recruitment: Spread news about Queen of Angels Catholic School to new families.
Registration Packets: Organize school information for registration.
