Kindergarten builds on the successful work completed in Prekindergarten and builds on natural curiosity, willingness to learn with friends and developmental readiness. While play continues to be an important vehicle for learning, more activities are offered to develop fine motor skills, increase letter recognition, introduce early reading words, grow number sense, refine social skills and experience participation in a faith community. Students eat lunch at school, receive music, gym, art, and computer experiences and relax during a quiet time. For maximum benefit, we encourage full day attendance. Children may be dismissed after lunch for a half day program.
